What is reformer Pilates?

Do I need experience to try reformer Pilates?
Nope! You don't need any experience at all to book an intro. Our instructors will guide you every step of the way and teach you how to safely use all of the equipment. You do, however, need experience to drop in. If you want to book an intro class, click here!
What’s the difference between mat Pilates and equipment Pilates?
Mat Pilates involves exercises performed on a mat using your body weight for resistance. Equipment Pilates uses machines like the reformer, which add resistance and support to your movements.
How is Pilates different from Yoga?
While both emphasize mindfulness and body awareness, Pilates focuses more on strengthening the core and stabilizing muscles through controlled, precise movements.
Is Pilates suitable for all fitness levels?

What should I wear to a Pilates class?
GET STARTEDWear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows for a full range of motion. Grip socks are recommended for hygiene and safety.
Do I need to bring anything to class?
GET STARTEDWe provide all necessary equipment, but feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer. Just bring water and a positive attitude!
How do I book a class?
You can easily book classes by clicking here. If you’re a first-timer, we recommend starting with a private introductory session or a beginner class.
What happens during my first session?
Your instructor will guide you through the basics of Pilates, assess your fitness level, and help you feel comfortable with the equipment and movements.
How often should I do Pilates?
The answer depends on many factors (your goals, fitness level, schedule). Once a week is a great start, but three times a week is ideal for maximum benefits.
What is your class cancellation policy?
We do our best to create a supportive and flexible environment for everyone. Members are welcome to make up missed classes with at least 24 hours' notice.
Because space is limited and spots are held in advance, drop-ins and intro classes are not eligible for make-ups or refunds.
This policy helps us stay fair and consistent for all clients, and allows us to offer your spot to someone else if you can't make it.
