We have been building something, and it is ready. On September 1st, 2026, the new pilateswestisland.com goes live, and if you have visited our site before, you will notice the difference immediately. The look is different. The booking system is different. The way you find classes, learn about the studio, and manage your account is different. All of it is intentional.

The studio has always been a considered space. Small classes, thoughtful instruction, a room that feels right. Our website, for a long time, did not match that. It was functional enough, but it did not tell you who we are, and it did not make booking or managing your classes particularly easy. So we rebuilt it from the ground up.

Whether you are returning to the reformer after a summer away, joining us for the first time this fall, or just curious about what we do, here is what you will find when you visit.

A new booking experience

We have moved to a new online booking platform, and the change is significant. You now have a personal Customer Area where you can view your upcoming classes, manage your credits, update your profile, and purchase class packages, all in one place. No more back-and-forth emails to reschedule. No more wondering how many classes you have left.

The class schedule is interactive: you can filter by class type, view the week ahead, and reserve your spot in a few clicks. If you have booked with us before, you will need to create a new account on the new platform. It takes about two minutes, and our step-by-step registration guide walks you through the entire process.

Clearer class descriptions and pricing

Every class type now has its own page with a clear description of what to expect, who it suits, and what it costs. If you have been curious about the difference between a group reformer class and a private session, or if you have wondered what Body Alignment Therapy involves, those answers are now easy to find.

Our pricing is published and transparent. You can view package options, drop-in rates, and session details at pilateswestisland.com/pricing before you ever walk through the door.

Meet the team

You will now find each of our instructors on a dedicated Team page: Kyle, Jim, Jodi, and Camille. The page introduces who they are, how they teach, and what training with them is like. The right instructor makes a real difference, especially in a studio this small, and we wanted you to have a sense of each person before your first session.

The Journal

The new site includes a blog, and we are calling it The Journal. This is where we will publish articles on reformer Pilates, posture, body alignment, injury prevention, and what mindful movement actually looks like in practice. A few pieces are already live:

Reformer Pilates for Lower Back Pain from Sitting

This entry covers the specific mechanism behind desk-driven back pain and what eight weeks of corrective reformer practice changes.

Reformer Pilates After 50: Rebuilding Mobility Without Risking Injury

Reformer Pilates after 50 builds strength, balance, and mobility without impact. What to expect, when to talk to your doctor, and how to start safely.

Reformer Pilates for Men

An article that makes the sport-specific case for golfers, hockey players, and runners, none of whom need to be convinced that Pilates is a real workout after their first session.

MORE IS ON THE WAY

The Journal is meant to be useful, not promotional. If a topic would help you understand your body or your practice better, it belongs here. Please share your requests.

Designed around you, on every device

The new site works properly on your phone, your tablet, and your computer. Pages load quickly. Navigation is simple. The visual design reflects the studio itself: clean, calm, and grounded. We wanted pilateswestisland.com to feel like walking into the studio, even if you are browsing from your couch on a Sunday evening deciding whether to book a Monday class.

What's next?

This launch is a starting point, not a finish line. We will continue adding content to the Journal, refining the booking experience, and building tools that make your time with us easier to manage. If you notice something that could be better, or if you have a question the new site does not answer, please tell us. We built this for you, and your feedback will shape what comes next.

With gratitude,

Kyle, Jim, Jodi, Camille, and the Pilates West Island team
